SUPPORTING PERAK FARMERS AGAINST EVICTION

Lawan Lapar supported a memorandum handover organised by Gabungan Petani Perak, along with Parti Sosialis Malaysia regarding unfair land acquisition and evictions of smallholder farmers in Perak. A memorandum was successfully submitted to the Menteri Besar of Perak. Lawan Lapar supported by documenting and telling the story of smallholder farmers as well as by building solidarity networks in order to expand the bring food security advocacy to the federal level.
